Ethics & Employee Rights
Since its inception, the Team-3 Company has consistently raised the banner of employee rights and welfare.
In the last few years, organizations and authorities have become significantly more aware of this issue and the various regulatory agencies have begun to address the gaps that exist in the general and administrative services industry with regard to the actual protection of employee rights.
Over the course of 2013, numerous inspections and audits were conducted at the Team-3 Company by the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Finance (which awarded us a grade of 95!) and accounting firms (wage auditors), all based on legal and regulatory requirements.
In the context of these inspections and audits, thousands of pay slips issued to Team-3 employees were reviewed. We are proud to announce that no significant irregularities were found and every discrepancy was addressed and corrected immediately vis-à-vis the auditors.
Last year, Team-3 enrolled as a member with SEDEX – a not-for-profit international membership organization dedicated to driving improvements in ethical and responsible business practices in global supply chains. SEDEX sets unique standards for sound ethical and social employee management.
In the SMETA (SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit) audit performed by SEDEX at the Team-3 Company, dozens of employees were sampled and their employment conditions along with the Company’s strict observance of no-discrimination regulations and adequate environmental conditions, plus many other parameters, were reviewed.
We are proud to announce that the Team-3 Company has passed the SMETA audit with flying colors and is now SEDEX certified.
With regard to employee welfare, the Company held dozens of events to various teams, gave out holiday gifts to all staff members and awarded bonuses to outstanding employees (on a periodic basis) and to employees who demonstrated outstanding performance during security and safety-related incidents.
